Job description
Reporting to the European Sales Director, your main tasks will be to:
- Analyze the market and in-store sales trends: researching a brand, visiting the shop (field research), devising a relevant offer to prospect.
- Develop the existing customer portfolio and win new customers in targeted segments: French retail customers with a head office in France.
- Carry out sales reporting: steering performance, monitoring KPIs on the French market.
- Develop key relationships with contacts in the target segments (middle market in the retail sector), particularly in marketing, visual communications, merchandising, CSR and purchasing.
- Work in collaboration with the design team, marketing and CSR, project management, manufacturing, quality and the supply chain. The Key Account Manager works closely with the factory, the support team in Belgium and the Customer Care team.
Profile
- You preferably have a Master's degree (Bac+5) in business/economics/marketing.
- You have at least 5 years' commercial experience, including at least 2 as a Key Account Manager.
- You are used to the challenges of winning market share in a highly competitive environment.
- You have a strong sense of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
- You will be able to make suggestions and enjoy working with your customers in the field.
- You are highly adaptable and can work both as part of a team and completely independently. You are at ease in an international context and with remote management.
- You speak fluent English.
